My cousin, a confirmed diehard carnivore, says, "Green foods are what FOOD eats." He'll eat a baked potato and mushrooms and fresh corn on the cob, but that's about the extent of his veggie eating.

I had oatmeal for breakfast. An unusual thing as I do not normally have breakfast at all, nibbles around midmorning generally do for me. I do not like "quick oats" near so well as I do plain old chopped oats though. I do not think the convienience of something fast cooking is worth giving up the chewy tastey oat goodness of the longer cooking ones. I have them with either a bit of brown (or maple if I've got it) sugar and just enough milk to make it comfy eating temperature, or a dab of butter and dry toast.
We got out of the habit of buying cold cereal ages ago. Though recently we have take to getting a box or bag of unsweetened inexpensive cereal every so often. They give cold cereal to the kids in school, and they get a taste for it.
Of course that doesn't count the box of rice crispies kept around for making rice crispie treats!
