OT: Candy

But, but, but, I thought that was the whole point behind diet pop. The Chemical Taste!

Aren't they the best??? And it's a good thing there is a pit. Otherwise, I'd eat the whole package in 10 minutes. At least this takes a little bit of work. Kind of like eating crawfish!

LOL, do I see a pattern here??? I bet you buy the seeded watermelons... I just hope you don't combine your munching/spitting penchant with your quilting. Maybe you were a llama in your last life? Heehee. chipper (I'm a lousy spitter, ends up on my chin. But I can out-sneeze anybody and if you're ever in a rubberband war, you want me on your team... ;)

I remember "milk bottles". A white hard candy in the shape of a milk bottle - not the wax ones. I have never found them after I left Philly and I wonder if they were a local candy.

We have those in the UK and they're one of my favourite sweets over here! Want to trade for something?

These "brands"/candy bar names got me to remembering goodies I loved as a kid - but my FAVORITE I didn't find on this list. Does anybody remember a candy bar called a "Mountain Bar"??? It was dome-shaped, if I remember right. Gosh, that was back in the 1940s! Gennin' old! ME-Judy

Life Saver suckers!

Haven't seen those for years, didn't see them there either but now it's got me thinking about them...

Loved the Marathon as well as wax bottles. The history of gum was neat.
