OT cleaning with silk

I just received this from a place where I buy my silk fabric online: Did you know that silk is the most ideal cloth to clean fine optical lenses, CD's, eyewear, and all those little screens on cell phones and other digital devices? This is because silk is by far the softest natural fabric and it will not leave hairline scratches on sensitive surface materials. Do you suppose this is true? I'll go try it on my smudgy phone lens and let you know. Polly

More importantly, what are you using the silk for?? Are you making silk quilts, baby outfits, gorgeous and scrumptious outfits for you???? Inquiring and curious minds want to know.

A few yards of silk is just a basic necessity around here. I discovered its wonder for lining knees of pants so they won't stretch or bag, use it sometimes for newborn gowns. Now I have a square for polishing my cell phone. I think the Yorkie must clean his feet on it. =) Polly
