OT Happy Dance

My quilt shack is now ALL MINE!!!!!

I have just made the last payment on my home and waiting for the final paperwork to take to the county recorder.

Been doing the Happy Dance all morning. Now its time for a celebration lunch at my favorite coffee house and off to the fabric store.

Woohoo, Kate! Congratulations! I know how great it felt when we paid off our former home -- but now we're paying on this one. LOL!

Woo hoo! We did that once and hope to do it again in about another year. It's such a good feeling, and I'm happy for you!

Congratulations! We paid ours off about 3 years ago, and redid a lot of things - new floors throughout, new wallpaper in both bathrooms, new tub/shower from ReBath in hall bathroom, and tub removed and new shower unit installed in master bath from same company. The units go all the way to the ceiling. They are guaranteed for life. Also wooden blinds installed everywhere and new vertical blind installed on patio door.

That's great! We're 20 longgggggggggggg years from paying off our home. I'm deeply impressed and I think you definitely deserve a good stash addition to celebrate!

Oh I am so tired. I spent the day wasting gasoline (giggle) going to Hancock Fabric and Joann Fabric in Louisiana. Was tempted to go to a LQS but that was in Alexandria LA.

I have wanted a whole roll of W&N for the longest time and now I have it. Also got 5 Olfa blades that I needed badly. I wanted some bright color fabric and got 10 whole yards.

On the way back home decided to take the long way, stopped at the Hollywood casino for a free luncheon buffet.

For the first time in my life I am debt free. What a relief.

Now my quilt room is in for a makeover. New shelves, new drapes and sheers, new flooring, a quilt design board and a cutting table with a permanent cutting mat.

Oh and Polly do send over the gators. Don't want the poachers kidnapping my new quilts.

Christmas came early this year. A-h-h-h-h-h.

The environmental protection agency will pay you a surprise visit any day now. They will want to know that you have appropriate accommodations before you can be considered for gator care and well-being. I'm sure, of course, that there is plenty of food in your area that tastes like chicken. Polly
