OT: Home safe and sound

We arrived late Saturday evening. Had lovely sunny weather the whole drive from Florida. Managed to spend 3+ hours at the Lancaster quilt show. DH and I decided to unpack the van Sat - good thing, as we had cold drizzly rain all day Sunday, then blowing wet snow on Monday! (Mother Nature is getting even with us for escaping winter in Florida!) Still unpacking.....thank heavens for storage tubs! I'm stitching some "redwork" blocks, although I'm being untraditional and doing them in black and pink. Managed to get some lovely pink w black and black w pink fat 1/4's in Lancaster!

Piggybacking here! Welcome home, Susan! How lucky you are to have been able to spend some time at the Lancaster show -- and how wonderful to have found the FQs you needed for your new project. :)

Managed to get all the fabric onto shelves - just a bit of re-organizing. Made my block of the month for my guild meeting in May, so I feel better now that I have sewn something. We're remodelling our bathroom. The toilet tank cracked (fortunately while DS2 was visiting). Since we have to replace the toilet, figured that new flooring, paint and new moldings are in order as well. The sun is finally out this afternoon. My tulips are pushing their way through in the back garden, and as soon as the wind dies down a bit, I'll have to start my spring clean-up outside.
