Mirjam, I admire you for being able to keep the peace in you own mind. In military training that is one of the main talents they try to pound into your head. Yes, I did say talents. Many people never attain it. That is why I really admire you for being able to do that.

Thank you Dennis Both for your Good wishes as well as your compliments, I don`t why i am calm , once i am cautious with the things i can controll, no fright will help where i can`t controll it. I must say that first days i had to adjust a bit to the new schedule. But now i find i can work , and concentrate more and more time. mirjam May Shalom come soon .

all of us here in the US are so spoiled and unaccustomed to adversity that i doubt anyone can actually imagine the position you're in. and most couldn't comprehend war happening here. i would be a nervous wreck.

but i do know that Jesus is right there with you and He's the one keeping you safe. that i know.

As well as keeping Mirjam and others I know of safe in Israel, I hope He keeps my friends' family safe too, and some former workmates of mine. They're in the Lebanon.

Mind you, He doesn't make war, only mankind does that, and, IMO, all too often in His name.

That is the sad part of war, and all the innocent folks are caught in the cross fire, no matter what nationality, race, age or gender. Mainly the innocent are killed.

Aharon ? what was this about ? before making any more `jokes ` of this kind [ not that eventually we won`t have them ourselves] i invite you to stay with us ,,, The rockets that come in aren`t only quick and heavy they are full with 20-40 kg of metal pellets , each one can penetrate a car`s door and zoom into a person and kill him immidiately, Shattered glasses are shatered to many small pieces that went into people`s eyes , and ears and faces ,,, only yesterday we had over 100 wounded in this city , Please keep this jokes to yourself . You have no idea what glass flying from a rocket hit can do to ,, [ ps not much `pieces` found ]. mirjam

Thanks Nora: I've been doing a lot of patchwork and other sewing.

At the moment I am knitting my first sock, and I'm doing two rather boring v-neck sweaters, both without patterns. I'll be taking them away with me, so hopefully I'll get lots of progress with them.
