Dannielle, I'm delighted to hear that things went well, and I'm sending good thoughts for CJ to be able to come home soon. :) I had to leave my second DD in the hospital and come home without her, and I know it's a strange feeling and rather a let down.

So happy you are home and hope that CJ is in your arms in your home very soon!

Congratulatons! Welcome to CJ and good job for you. My first son also spent a bit of time in the NICU before coming home. It seemed forever (really only 4 weeks) but now, almost 20 years later, it's of no matter. Looking forward to seeming you back in the ng soon.

for now rest as much as you can! it's hard to do with the little one in ICU (I speak from experience!) but it really is worth resting before you get to take your cherub home with you :-)

I was so lucky to be able to stay with James when he was in the SCBU for his first week. I got plenty of rest. It's invaluable! Make the most of it you can, Danielle - there'll be a few small storms when the cherub DOES get home! It takes a while for them to adjust to the quiet after a busy hospital!
