OT: they're HOME.....

SIL got out of the hospital this afternoon. She rested for several hours & we dropped the kids off tonight. They were so happy to see mom and be back home. They colored some 'my little pony' pictures today to give to mommy. SIL is exhausted but glad to be home. Hopefully in a few days they'll have an idea of what caused the fluid build up in her lungs and hopefully it won't happen again.

We are so tired it isn't funny....just 'cause a couple of kids stayed with us for a few days. Geesh, I feel so _old_.

it's great to hear your SIL is home again with her kids :-) a few days rest will fix the tiredness!

I had a nephew over last weekend while my oldest went to my sisters and I was knackered afterwards too - no idea why as I am used to having 2 kids in the house and still had that number due to me and my sister swapping our eldest sons for the night. maybe it was due to him being twice the age of my oldest. or that he sewed half a quilt in one day? (and I had to keep up with pressing, cutting and pinning?)

Whew! Great news, Irene! I know just what you mean about kids wearing you out -- my DGSs do the same to me.

This is very good news, Irene. I hope she continues to improve and doesn't have a repeat of the episode.

Good for you, Irene. It may be a decade or never that your SIL realizes how precious it was to know that her little ones were safe and cherished. Go have a solid collapse somewhere. You've earned it. Polly
