oops, forgot the link
Wow - really well made beads, especially since they have only been at it for
6 months! I am happy for them. :)The Beads are what I would expect from someone lampworking for 6 months. what I am amazed at is the price $102 BTW they are just as amazed
It's partly because these colors are really popular in the spring time. I'm so glad for them! :)
Boy-o-Boy Ebay is flooded with pink sets BTW do you know anyone who has lausha clear, Frantz only has 12 - 14mm rods and they are very green looking , glassdaddy is out also
No, I haven't seen any Lauscha clear for awhile. The thicker the rod, the greener it looks - no matter where you get it. That's just the nature of Lauscha clear, in my experience. I have some of those huge rods, and they work fine, as long as you warm them up in the kiln first before trying to melt them. I melt a huge blub and attach it to another Lauscha clear rod and pull to make a smaller rod for use. You might call Bill from IslandGlass (a seller on ebay) - he usually has much more than what he lists and can often get stuff people are looking for. Here's his store:
Yeah I called Bill and bought a couple of pounds of those fatties a couple of weeks ago I had one explode on me yesterday, glass all over the place
vj found this in rec.crafts.beads, from "alex" :
