I recovered from the flu about 5 weeks ago but can't shake this horrible sinus drainage and cough. Today is probably my best day in a few weeks. We had a good Christmas. Barbara in Central FL where it has finally warmed back up

I am experiencing freaky weather on the other end of the spectrum- I went to bed at midnight last night and it was 56 degrees. At 4 a.m. it had

*warmed* up to 65 degrees! My area is under a severe storm watch and there were tornados reported about 100 miles west of me. This is April like weather! Tomorrow the highs will be in the low-30s and lows in the high teens. That is typical for this time of year. But this balmy weather is kinda nice for a change from the cold. If only the storms that came with the warmth weren't so scary. The HairyButt Gang are totally freaked out by the thunder and lightening and periods of heavy rain and high winds.

It was about 34F when I walked the dog this morning. You could see your breath!! But it's supposed to warm up to the upper 50's today. At least the sun is out and it's not snowing here! =)

I am in Ventura County [north end], about 80 miles from where Amy lives. It was darned cold this morning. Right now it is sunny and cold, in low 50s. This evening we expect clouds and rain that may last to Monday morning. Yep, the prediction is for rain for the [Pasadena] Rose Parade and New Year's Eve!

Amy, I used to live in Torrance [across the street from Del Amo Mall] and San Pedro [on 8th and Western]; they were my last abodes before I escaped Los Angeles.
