OT: Its looking like Christmas!

I took the time yesterday to put my Christmas quilt on our bed, and I set out my cross stitched nativity scene. I exchanged the wallhanging with my holiday one - it has a "Father Christmas" in the middle, and is surrounded by the nine-patch Christmas blocks I received in a RCTQ exchange many years ago. Now I feel much better. DH has been good at keeping his foot elevated, but is finding it hard to stay put for so many hours a day. The swelling is down quite a bit, but it will be a long time healing. After I run out to pick up some groceries, I plan to spend the afternoon working on my quilt! Thanks for all the support!

If he needs support send him my way--I've been wearing Das Boot since Sept and I'm STILL swelling and still having to be off it as much as humanly possible.......

Yuppers, this is a COMPLAINING post. I'm sick and tired of it as it weighs

5 lbs! Kicking up the hip pain--so tell him STAY OFF it or he will start hurting in other places. No fun.

Butterfly (I'm working on puzzle # 5--does that tell you how long I've had it--I just keep telling myself this one is NOT fractured--the fracture is healing super on the other one. SIL brought me a STACK of puzzles that she picked up at Goodwill for $.50 each. So far I've been working on the Rebecca Barker Quilt themed ones that I bought online (1000 piece). She brought 3 Christmas ones, so one of them will be next (500 piece) )
