Got our Memorial Day celebration well underway here too, Pat. I have 160 HSTs pressed for a Wounded Warrior quilt. (from Quiltmaker Nov '97). The pattern's name is Candy Canes which is a bit syrupy but does well in red, white and blue. Look for me at the Freedom Run. I'll be handing out cool water and Advil. Polly

I just watched the opening ceremonies and beginning of the Indianapolis 500. Very moving.
Standing and saluting for all active, retired, and military personnel who have passed on.

I saw part of the opening ceremonies. Decided today is a good day to work on my DGD's big girl quilt and do laundry since DH is working.
