OT: (mostly) One goes away for a few days...

and one comes back to so many messages that one cant keep up!!

I offer many happy dances to those that made it! I offer my prayers to those who need them. I offer my steel toed boot right in the derrier of the troll.

Went away for a few days again, just me and hubby. It has been a summer of go go go GO! This time it was just a quick trip to get away and have some time to figure out our future. Husband is changing jobs, HUGE move for him, and I am again seeking a job. Decisions made, life moves on :-)

And I am glad to be home again! Wish I could get some time to do some quilting, but it will come soon enough. Leaves are all falling off trees, yard needs to be prepared for winter, kids start school on Tuesday, Air Cadet starts up again Tuesday, got a meeting down south in about 3 weeks, gotta find a job... then there is Silly Season gifting to be figured out.... oh and in between there I have a son turning 16 and getting his drivers, and my dad turning 65 and needing a celebration..... nevermind.

I will just bask in your quilting and your finished's and stockpile all your tidbits of tips and how-not-to's and when the snow flies I MAY get some time for me! LOL

I have so many projects to try and attack and since my health is much improved and life seems to be sort of getting back on a schedule I can't wait to see them again! It will be all new to me again! My itch now is to get my scrappy darling of 3/4 inch strips on the go again. I miss messin' with it, I love the way it is coming along, slowly mind you at a 3/4inch strip at a time, but it has been calling me. Alas, it is only one of the many UFOs I have stashed.

~KK~ who misses this group terribly and who wants to stay HOME for a while instead of being on the run and on the go and on and on....

Hi KK - nice to see you again and hear that your "life moves on". Isn't it just the way that so often life gets in the way of living (sigh)

KK, I am so happy you got to go away and I wish you best of luck in your job search and will be praying for both you and your DH in hopes he likes his new job and you find one as quickly as you would like. If I had the talent that most on this group seem to have, I believe my new job would be selling quilts or at least making them to sell.

Best of luck in all you do,

Jacqueline
