I'm watching the news and the school closings, etc. are still scrolling across the top of the TV. Most are in the Harrisburg and Hershey areas, including the Hershey Chocolate plant! DH and I made it to the Penn State - Alabama game on Saturday. We left a day early and took a long, round-about route. We parked in a soggy, muddy field, but with 4 wheel drive had no trouble getting out. We attempted a shorter route home (not our usual route near Harrisburg) and ended up having to do a detour around a washed out area. We saw lots of damage along Interstate 80, and videos of waterfalls along the PA Turnpike. It's going to take a long time to recover from Irene and Lee, plus we had hard rain and more warnings last night!
