We didn't get affected either....but way to close for comfort. Where could I go to get some good shots? I am kind of scared to venture to far...because I don't know where is safe.

Southern Alberta had severe flooding a year ago, last June. I did the same thing. Got into my car with my camera and started taking pictures of the flooding rivers all over here. What a mess! I haven't gotten around to scrapbooking the shots I printed yet though......

Melissa those pix are really beautiful, albeit the conditions.

Wondering how you and Jessica and the new person are or where the flooding was in relation to you.

Jessica is Fine... no rivers by her, though she does live on a lake. Are they showing pictures nationally... it's amazing to see what's going on.

I am the closest RCSer to a flood area affected by this storm. They're saying 2 more storms rolling in this weekend...

20 hunters missing in the woods. 2 drownings.

I'll be fine, I'm on high ground.

The animals are free range, so I imagine most made it safely to higher ground. It was a slow flood as opposed to like a sudden gush of waters.
