OK Let's Try This Again! (Long)

HI ALL!!

I'm going to try getting back into the group again. Since I last was hear, another great-uncle passed away in May. Then a week later one my landlord's workers dropped a hammer on the roof of the new Tucson. Had to fight that out through the insurance company. The just last month my oldest sister's ex sister in law (a friend of mine too) died, then my oldest nephews father drowned. So it has been a rough year so far.

On the good side DH got me the Cricut and the cartridges I wanted. He also go me a craft armoire (we're waiting for it to come in) to do my scrapbooking, so it doesn't take 20 minutes to get ready and 20 to put away, just push everything to the part of the top that doesn't fold down and close the door. I'll take pics when we get it, put it together and load it up.

Now to you all, welcome to all out newbies. Welcome back to those who had to take time away like me. Sounds like there were some great trips in there. For those who have asked for thoughts and prayers I have sent them as needed. I'm sorry for those who also lost some one close to them. Happy belated Birthday and Anniversary to all I missed. Congrats to those who have taken new jobs and new directions. Sounds like Dave has really been getting around. :-) Congrats on the new additions to families both human and furbaby. Wish I could have made the Barn, but maybe next time. Sounds like you all had fun. Thanks for all the links.

Cec, I'm glad to hear things are getting better for you, you had a tough decision you made, you are a strong person. Wow Carolyne you had some rain. Chrissy, sorry to hear about the vandalizing of your son's grave. Kate, Sarah is precious. Also glad to hear your issue was resolved with the free scrapbook supplies. Have fun on the Cruise April. Glad to hear is all great with you Jacqui. Congrats Kenda on your promotion & your son making it in the Army (I know that's what he wanted). Sabrina, I've been thinking and worrying about you. I hope all is OK with you.

Everyone did great layouts, cards, tags, cakes and crafts. I hope to get in the swing too. I did get lots of DH's family photos recently. I have to print out some more. I got to see what a cute baby DH was. :-)

Well that about catches me up and hopefully this time life will leave me alone enough I can stay caught up. To any I forgot, I'm sorry.

Teresa, You said new Tucson. Is this a new car. My husband and I were talking about buying a new 2006 Hyundai. Is this what you have and how do you like it? We have a Honda Accord now but just talking about changeing brands.

Welcome back Teresa. I'm sorry for all of your losses this year. I hope you have a great rest of the year.

Congrats on your new scrapbooking armoire. I bet you cant wait to get it and use it. I'm redoing my closet and putting all of my scrapbooking stuff in there. It's a big walk in closet.

My twin boys are 2 years old today! My daughter will be 4 on the 15th! Everyone is growing up so fast.

Welcome back!

Hi Irene,

Yes, we got it in February. It is Hyundai's mini SUV. It's the second Hyundai we've owned. The 1st was an Elantra. So far I've loved both vehicles. You get a more loaded out vehicle then most other brands for the money. Our dealership has been great with any little problems we've had. So far all our repairs have been things like replacing a door seal because of a few gouges (Elantra), a horn that stopped working (Elantra) and an ashtray that we had trouble closing (Tucson). All were fixed under the warranty and that is between both vehicles over a 2 1/2 years. It is the least trouble we've had with vehicles in 25 years. I highly recommend the Hyundai based on my experiences. HTH

It's nice to see you again, Teresa. I am so sorry that you've had such a rough year. Hopefully things will even out for a long while. I do wish you could have met us at the Barn, but understand that sometimes other obligations interfere. Just glad you are here now!

Goodness gracious! That's just too much for one year. Let's hope the rest of the year is quiet for you.

Thank you Deb.

Unfortunately, I opened the paper today and found out a cousin of mine in his 80s died yesterday. This just isn't a good year to be in my family.

Things can only get better soon.
