OT: Photos of Cheeto aka Li'l Guy the Rescued Kitty

I have just uploaded photos of the kitty to Webshots. He has his own album so you won't have to look far. He's been playing and/or sleeping on me all day -- full of piss & vinegar as my Granny would say :-). He is currently asleep on HIS blankie on HIS recliner (just ask him, he'll tell you they are HIS) here in the computer room where we have spent the day. CiaoMeow >^;;^<

He's just adorable (good thing I don't live just 'along the road' from you!!). All kittens steal hearts, but with his history - even more so. . In message , Tia Mary writes

Very cute! I rescued a kitten over 20 yrs ago that had markings similar to that. I named him Murphy. When he was being a ****ion, his name was Murphenstein. He was also a snuggler. Every time I was on the phone he would climb up to lay on my chest to feel the vibrations of my voice.

Someone over at RCTN uploaded photos of a look-alike kitty she rescued. I swear, the two of them could almost be twins! I'm not terribly fond of tabbies but Cheeto aka Lil'Guy looks like he is a white cat with a gray tabby hat and saddle so he's OK :-). CiaoMeow >^;;^<

How precious and beautiful and oh so tiny. Mary, he just looks so sweet - which may or may not be the case with the pi$$ and vinegar. I wondered the last time I visited your pictures and just have to ask. Do you think you're wearing enough rings? I'm hoping you keep rings on your list for Christmas and your birthday and such. Our beloved Aunt Jesse always said that a lady can't wear too many rings and she would be oh so proud of you. Polly

What an adorable cat. I love his eyes. He's a lucky little guy that he was found by someone that cares, he deserves it. Gen

Oh what a little cutie! Such delightful pictures! Cheeto. It certainly fits him. :-) (I don't know why, it just does.)

Hey, I'm a James Rollins fan too. Subterranean is one of his creepiest books, imo.

Well, here's the deal -- in the photos I don't have all of my rings on!!! When I get "dressed up" I have six more very BIG rings that I wear :-). I LOVE jewelry (must have been a gypsy or a tinker in a past life) and can't see spending $$ on it and then leaving it in the jewelry box! In addition to the 15 gold and 15 silver rings I wear all the time (as in NEVER take them off and set off the alarm at the airport) I also wear (all the time) eight necklaces. How about bracelets??? Now, I don't wear the bracelets all the time, only when I am going out of the house for some reason but not quick stuff like groceries or to Curves. HMMM -- my "quickie" number of bracelets is 5 gold and 5 silver (balance in everything, dontcha know) for when I am going shopping or to run errands with friends. If I am going to my monthly luncheon or to my Needlework Group meeting then I wear all of bracelets which is (I think) a total of 10 gold and 11 silver. Got wild with that extra silver bracelet -- makes me list a bit to starboard -- I wear silver on my starboard and gold on my port. NOW you understand the true meaning of DD's comment that if I was to have a headstone she would make sure it was engraved "It needs just a LITTLE bit more" -- LOLOL! Remember, friends, if some is good then a BUNCH more has to be a BUNCH better :-) CiaoMeow >^;;^<

I loved his eyes, too. So 'honest and true'; and still loving and trusting after all the medical things that have had to be done to him. I think I'm smitten! . In message , Gen writes

Awww! Cute little fella, isn't he!

Cornflake was curious about him, and is now on my lap, trying to lick my hands as I type! Daft thing...

Jiji was all curious too. Sniffing the screen and patting it and all. Of course he may be putting on the extra charm as he was in trouble earlier. He jumped up into the tray on the chalkboard side of Ash's new easel, stood up on his hind legs and let his front feet drag down the chalkboard, claws out of course. He came very close to being declawed with a soup spoon and a pair of ice tongs.

He's beautiful, Mary. The patterning of the tiger stripes and the white areas is really special. Thank you and your DH for saving this one. PAT
