OT Polly Prayer request

Please pray for all of us. We think the Esther Furry Face Shelter is going to be okay - but, oh my, how our hearts hurt for those who have kissed their homes goodbye and had to go to shelters. Then, there are the ones who won't go. And then, there are the ones who don't understand that this hurricane won't hit the beach and halt. It looks like it will be deadly all the way to the top of Tennessee. Hold all of us close in your thoughts and prayers. Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln . . . the battle here right now is titled "Who is the Alpha QI?". Apparently they all are, the whole gang quietly asleep on the guest bed. Whatever time zone you're in, remember us. Polly

Hang in there Polly, and write as often as you can. You can't imagine how much you're being thought about and prayed for. I may stay up all night watching the television....as if that has any influence on the outcome. May you be watched over and sheltered from harm. Big hugs,

You are in my thoughts as prayers. I am just east of Atlanta and we will get rain, wind and threat of tornados Monday and Tuesday. This is a monster storm. Elaine in GA

You definitely have my good thoughts & concern. I'm hoping it fizzles out before it can wreak any damage. Be safe & let us know when you can that you are okay.

Oh Polly dear, this sounds awful. We have had it on our news, and I've been thinking of you non-stop. We heard that it will hit the land during today. You will, no doubt, have power and computer problems - as well as all the others - but please can you let us know you're all right, whenever you can. I will try to 'get' a CNN broadcast sometime; but personal is best. Certainly praying hard. . In message , Polly Esther writes

Thoughts, love, good wishes and yes even prayers headed your way Polly, and to those others who will be affected. Take care, be safe and above all else, if needs be - RUN! Stash can always be replaced, you and your loved ones, cannot.

Polly-

It's so frightening just watching The Weather Channel from here, I can't begin to imagine what you and your neighbors close to and in New Orleans in the storm's path must be feeling. We'll pray for everyone and their safety. What a horrible storm!

Prayers, love and hugs,

Leslie

What a lovely Valentine's Day. I grew tired hearing a train coming up through the pecan grove. Realized that it was not a train. It is the wind. Was so pleased to still have lights and water. And my little heart just sang to see some love notes from my friends. Thank you all so much. Please keep the "Power" on. Polly

The tornado that hit Birmingham a few weeks ago made me very glad that the UK has relatively few natural disasters. You and yours are in my thoughts today.

Hang in there and hang on. This one skirted us here near Gainesville, and has done nothing she was expected to do. Maybe she'll surpise us again and go POOF unexpectedly.

Hang in there, Polly. We'll see you on the other side of the storm.

Prayers on the way, Polly. I'm crossing my fingers, toes and eyes just for good measure. I haven't dared turn on the TV yet this morning, but even the BBC radio is monitoring the situation.

I'll be lighting some candles in a moment... they will help you find your way if you need it. I'm also sending you all my strength to keep you going (sorry Larissa! Polly needs it more now)
