I've seen the "positive vibes" of this group work so well in the past. I need to request some! Long story here - need all the positive thoughts all of you can send.. DD lost her fiance in a plane crash about 15 months ago. Because the house mortgage was only in his name, the properties he owned went to his next-of-kin - who made my DD move out. She not only had to deal with grieving, but also being "homeless". She found a "temp" house to rent with another roommate, but the property (horrible old run-down place) is to be torn down this spring, so she has to find a new place. The water/sewage pipes were messed up by tree roots and were so bad that she could not even flush paper down the toilet or wash her hair for fear something would plug up the pipes. (I can't even imagine!!!) Problem is, after putting up with all that over the fall and winter, she cannot find a place that she can afford by herself, and the fact that she has 2 dogs and a cat (one dog and cat were her fiance's - and she cannot bear to get rid of them.) which makes it harder to find a place - one where pets would be welcome. She lives out in western Wyoming - we live in Maine, so telling her to "come on home" is out of the question. She has a good job (not all that high-paying) and good friends. She has about run out of hope. Please, if you would, send positive thoughts to help her find a decent, affordable place to live.
