OT: Prayer request

Please pray for Ken. He is the ranch hand that helps my godmother. He cut his leg with a chain saw on Saturday, and now it is infected. They are on their way to the ER to get it treated. Thanks bunches, all of you.

Prayers and good thoughts on the way from Tucson.

One of my brothers, Bud the logger, says that you must always think in terms of *when* you hurt yourself with the chain saw, not *if* you hurt yourself with the chain saw. They are dangerous tools. Immediate professional medical attention is the key, as the chain is full of wood chips, dirt and oil.

I have all I can do, myself, to control a Skil saw or jig saw. Good luck to Ken!

Well, so much for male machoism. Perhaps, if he'd gone to the ER straight away, all of this could hav been avoided. Anyway, the skinny is this: he has an infection in his knee cap, surgery was done today to clean that up, and he should be out of the hospital by Sunday or Monday. Good grief!! Thanks for all your prayers and good thoughts - I will try to keep y'all updated as I know something.

Thank goodness they found the infection in time. Hope his recovery is a speedy one and he will be back to his "old self" in no time.
