OT: Prayer Request for DSM

My DSM had quite a fall when taking out the garbage on Monday. On top of many bad bruises, she broke her right hip and had a compound fracture of her right shoulder. Yesterday she had surgery on her hip and the surgeon said that all went well. They were unable to deal with her shoulder at that time, because they thought the extended time would be too much for her. So in two weeks she must have another surgery on her shoulder.

Please keep my DSM in your prayers, that she heals well, the doctors do their part very well and she gets full movement back again.

Prayers are being said for your DSM and for you. Does she live in the area or are you having to travel in order to be with her?

I'm in TX & she is in CA. Unfortunately, I am unable to go see her at this time (I have some health issues of my own). My two (2) DBs and one (1) DS are all able to go see her and help her. My older DB is with her right now and he is going to call me and let me talk to her for a couple minutes (all that she is able to do right now).

{{{{Bev}}}} Being so far away and unable to be with her makes it so difficult, doesn't it? I'm glad there are relatives in the area, though, who will keep you up to date on what is going on.
