Anyone here know much about the Redwall books and public TV show? I was wondering if the TV show sticks true to the books or if they are based on the books. DS has really enjoyed watching it on public TV this summer, and I was thinking about checking the books out from the library, or perhaps even purchasing the series to read to him.
Hi, Charlotte. I love the Redwall series, especially the ones about the mice. I have all but one of the books now, and I am still searching for the last one. I just started reading them and just bought a new one that came out with beautiful illustrations. They have a wonderful website too. I've only ever caught the TV series once or twice but I should Tivo for it.

Thanks Alice. I really think my son is going to enjoy them. I have to decide if I want to wait for the library's copy to become available or just go buy them. I think I might just go buy the set as I'm sure he'll enjoy reading them again only to himself when he gets older. As will my other DS who is too young yet to enjoy them.
