A bit cloudy here today, but after wonderful spring-sunshine- dream- days, I think we will survive!LOL! Girls, I have had some fantastic days, just sitting in the sun, "healing", knowing that I could not do much more. Three of the "sores" I did not feel I had at all, but one was bigger, it was bleeding the first night after surgery, so I felt I had to be careful so it healed properly.
As I have told others, This is the first time I can remember, that I have relaxed in my chair for so long, without sending a SINGLE thought to what I SHOULD have done! We girls are strange that way, bad consience and restlessness follow us! I think we are "brought up too well"! LOL!
I have knitted a summer sweather these days, I will put up a picture when it's ready. (I found the pattern on the web, you will get that link too.)
AND I have read a lot. I finished the wonderful Amos Oz' book, Mirjam. The first day at hospital, I knew that would be a "waiting day", I found a deep, "relax- chair", and went into Amos Oz' world.
When I then was called to examination by the doctor, she said: "I bet you do a lot of work out! Your "resting pulse" is down to 60!" (LOL::: Work Out... my bad consiense) I told her that I REALLY had rested in a chair with a fantastic book, for at least two hours, you don't get high pulse from that!
After that, I have read the two first books about Mme Rabotswe, Maria, and others who recomended it! I see they don't have the other four, not even in english, at the library, but I CAN order them online. HOW SWEET BOOKS!!! I like the way McCall Smith writes, and I lowe Mme Rabotswe! ME.. who like crime, but cannot STAND bloody crime(!How to find "nice" crime, eh????) This was just something for me! Hardly crime at all! LOL! But lots of wisdome!
Well, now my lazy, enjoying days is soon ended, but I feel ready for work, and I WILL still find some time for knitting and reading and gardening .. .... I think this is the privilege of us "grown ups" who do not have children at home any more!
