OT ridiculous trivia

My memory is selective. I can remember what we had for breakfast September

17, 1943. But this one escapes me. There was this goofy sort of guy on tv that introduced, " this is my brother ____ and my other brother ____" (same name for the other brother). What was the brother's and other brother's name? and where in the world does that come from? Our newspaper often refers to Section B. Our newspaper never ever has a Section B. They have Section A and the *other* Section A. They remind me of "this is my brother _____" Does anybody remember what I'm talking about? Polly

Yes, Carissa. I was a little bit thinking it was Daryl - but where does that memory come from? Dukes of Hazard? Mayberry? where? Polly

"Carissa" Daryl :)

Larry would introduce his brother....Daryl and his other brother Daryl. Or maybe it was Darryl. :-) It was from the Bob Newhart show where he and his wife ran a Vermont (?) inn. Now does it ring a bell?

Thank you, Carissa and Kathyl. Our newspaper deserves a sharp smack on the head; needed my smart-alec criticism to sound like I know what I'm talking about. Yeah. Right. They'll never know that it took 3 of us. Polly
