OT - Serious Prayer Request

I know I don't post often, but this is an extreme circumstance.

My oldest DS, John, and his SO, Stephi, have been together almost 7 years. This morning, she packed her things (clothes, jewelery, etc) and left. She also left my grandchildren, aged 4, 18 mo, and 8 mo, with their daddy. He's a pretty good dad, but he is completely devastated and a bit owverwhelmed. Please pray that God will do whatever is best for all parties concerned.

I'm very sad.

Oh that is sad.

She might be suffering from Post Natal Depression. Prayers are on the way.

I hope and pray all works out well for the whole family.

On their way. She won't have done THAT in a hurry, not with such young kids. It'll be a shock for all concerned.

Take care of yourself. They will need your strength.

Oh boy, that's tough. I hope there is someone who might advise the girl - as Di said, she might well be suffering post-natal depression.

Are you near enough to the little family, to help your son with the little ones? Those little souls are going to need some 'heavy-duty' reassurance. Your grieving son is going to need all his strength to care for them emotionally. . In message , TerriLee in WA writes

I'm hoping he will come visit this weekend. They are about 5 hours away.

Oh my --- 3 under 4 ... and two of them just infants. Sounds like she is just completely overwhelmed! Are your DS & his SO young parents? Sounds like they need some help... and yes ...could be Post Natal Stress... That can really knock folks for a loop.

While the thought of those babies being without their momma right now is tough (on them and your DS) -- sometimes it takes extra courage to leave the situation until you can get your head together. Hopefully a little time and a little rest (and hopefully a little counseling/medical support) and this family will be back together again.

Many, many prayers on wing. Encourage your son to get help wherever he can... if he's working and the single parent of those 3 little ones... he'll need it!!!

My Wings are on their way

Is there a way YOU could go to him for the weekend? We moved with DD, 2 weeks old, DS, just 2, and I drove one vehicle. It was extremely stressful and DH was in the other vehicle..we took turns with the kidlets. I don't see how he could handle 4 lil ones and drive 5 hours

Thank you. Unfortunately, this weekend, I cannot. DH is out of town, and coming back sunday at 1:30. I have to pick him up at the airport. It never rains but what it pours, eh?
