OT: She's Coming Home!!

I have been in a state of Outer Limits for the last week, so don't even remember if I have written to you guys about DD. She left for ISRAEL, yes you read that right, on June 5 with a large group. They all returned on June 15, and on that day she started volunteering at a Kibbutz that is 9 miles from the Jordanian border. She was having a great time and when she called home sounded really happy. Well... we all know what is going on there now. I have been in constant touch and she kept trying to tell me that all is OK, and to quit worrying. Got upset on Saturday when I told her I wanted her on the plane NOW and not on August 2 as scheduled. She fought like mad, even said that those of her friends who were trying to leave early were unable to as El Al was completely booked until the end of September. Don't know what happened this morning, but her tune changed completely. She called me at work at 8:45 am and told me that she managed to get a flight home on Wednesday at 10:30 AM will land at JFK at 3:30 pm. They would not transfer her old ticket so she had to pay for a new one! I don't care if a new ticket cost triple what she paid, SHE IS GETTING OUT!!!! I still won't see her until August 4 since she is not changing her flight to Orange County. Don't really care what she does while on the east coast as long as she does it on US soil!

WOOHOO!!! Now we hold our breath until Wednesday afternoon... I'm sure you will be on needles and pins until that time. Prayers for her safely reaching American soil.
