I've been teaching some basic beading classes at my local Ben Franklin Crafts. I've even been able to persuade them to carry a small selection of Swarovski crystals. (Let me tell you - there are several very happy women in my town wearing their very own RAW bracelets!) I was in at the store today setting up the classes for January and February and I was told they have to find a new way to merchandise the crystals. Seems those little critters are leaving the store without being paid for. For the time being they are still displayed on pegs but they are looking at some sort of a cabinet.
Will someone tell me that it wouldn't be a beader doing that? I'd rather believe that it's just someone who doesn't bead, they just see that the crystals sell for $xx therefore they most be worth stealing.
