VERY OT An important date- and only a few days to prepare!!!

I have just been advised by my ISP's monthly newsletter that July 27 is National Take Your Houseplant For A Walk Day. I shall be very busy the next few days cleaning, trimming and grooming two of our favorite houseplants for their annual walk- we'll prolly walk them around Court Square for this important National Holiday. (Of course, we'll be dressed in our best clothing and The HairyButt Gang will be decked out in fresh greenery to honor our houseplants.) I just wanted to be sure y'all had sufficient warning to prepare for this important national holiday.

AND, if all that houseplant preparation wasn't enough to deal with, July 28 is National Milk Chocolate Day. (I even have some ideas about what to "wear" at home for this holiday!!! ) We'll just barely have time to get ready for that at the same time! Ohhhhhh..... the pressure!!!

Wow. I've never had Christmas candy last a whole week. I'm lucky if it makes through dinner. ;-)

you obviously don't buy/make enough ;-)

Thanks! That's a much more charitable explanation than the truth. ;-)

nope not so... no matter how much is consumed if there isn't any left for Jan 1st you didn't buy/make enough

alternatively you just forgot to make your own personal stash. Tut tut!

I've always been a firm believer in proper sampling of any foods given as gifts. And plenty of retains, just for quality assurance. ;-)

I was merely looking for a logical explanation for Kathy's lack of candy on Jan 1st she makes enough but doesn't have any left and is known to give candy away ergo she gives *too much* away ;-)

I give it away. Yeah, that's the ticket. ;-)
