OT: sigh

Well, the last post viewable as 8/1 from sunny about her garden. Tonight all of the sudden I have through 8/4 [whoo-hoo!] No clue what has happened since then, but I strongly suspect at least a few of you have been talkin' on here!

I read through Google groups. Tried to sign up for the free 2 week trial from that comapny in Germany, but cannot access it now. Cannot figure anything else out, and have no idea if this will even go through. I have been reading this group for over 12 years.

They have all the info for setting up a news reader (I'm using my mail reader, Thunderbird). And they have all the groups I need, including the Danish groups (so they probably have most of everything, maybe minus the binaries).

Right there with you Ginger! I'm another 'googler' and up until today haven't seen anything since 8/1. Very frustrating. I guess I'll have to look into some of the other free things as well.
