I also use it. I'm going to finish up my three albums and when the kids each hit 10yrs old I'm starting 12 X 12.

Hi Tara,

I just bought an 8 1/2 X 11 to do a cookbook for myself. I have no paper that size yet, so if you have anything that might relate or colors that make you think "recipe" I'd be happy to help you with the postage.

The first thing is, I don't like to pay the higher price of 12" paper and the second is the scraps are never big enough to matte pics w/. My pages are pretty simple and I just don't use that many scraps in creative ways.

All that I use right now is the 8.5X11 albums. I have thought that in the future I may have to use 12x12 as the local independant stores are going strictly to 12x12 paper. I am getting to the point I hate going to Hobby Lobby or Michaels, not to mention Wal Mart as they have the same thing or generic stuff. I do not mind cuttingthe paper down as it leaves me scraps to do other things with.

I weeded alot out because I decided to go to 12 X 12 after all this time... I just felt I needed more space to explore.

I'm just getting into 12x12 more myself too. I find it hard to store 12x12 paper so that it is portable too. I must keep looking because I like something sturdy to keep it safe (since it does cost more).

A tip for that 1 inch strip you have left over when you cut it down to 8.5 x

11 - cut it into 1 inch squares and mount stickers on them and link the squares together with fiber or by drawing lines. Makes a good border or you can even mat the squares and use for a title that will pop.
