OT thanks for cookies

John, I made a half-recipe (still a LOT of cookies) and I'm eating one right now. Very delicious! I put a walnut half on top, just because I had some. And I put 3 bags of cookies in the freezer, like money in the bank.

I showed Lois your post, and she also said, "I would rather have cookies in the freezer, than money in the bank". Glad you liked them.

ummm, cookies and milk. Or tea and cookies. Outta the freezer and into the microwave for a quick thaw, voila! warm cookies again.

John, Me too, I just made a half batch. They taste really good, but, I don't know about the texture that the oat flour gives them. I'm sure they won't last long around here though. Thanks, Michele

I think there are preferences for how cookies should taste. Some people like their cookies gooey and soft. Others prefer theirs firm with a texture. There are even some who are in various places in between. It all comes down to personal taste, and how you view the perfect cookie. Isn't choice wonderful? Or at least the option of making a choice between cookies.

As my dad always said "I never met a cookie I didn't like". At potlucks at work, the cookies always go first - they are portable and people always love'em. Last week someone brought in cookies that were so gooey and soft they sat in their container looking for all the world like that one famous painting with the clocks kinda dropping over everything ;)

Ginger in CA who has decided to wait until cooler weather to make cookies - it's too hot and humid here to kick on the oven!
