OT: thoughts for me, prayers for friend

Well, after the first day of leading young elementary/preschool music at VBS i can definitely say i will need good vibes to get my achy, arthritic joints thru the next 4 days. But it is such a joy to see the kiddos dance and sing!

but more than that, if y'all could hold up some prayers for my friend I would appreciate it! She went in for her baseline mammo and they found her breast riddled with cancer. She will be having a dbl mastectomy on Wed. So prayers for her and her family and especially for the doctors being able to get it all out are appreciated!

oh, Kellie, that's terrible about your friend. she must be devistated. i see it everyday at work. (i work for a surgeon and we do ALOT of breast work). she will definately be on my prayer list. and i'm glad the kiddies had fun, and you too!! remember your pain/ arthritis meds!!

I hope you realize, Kellie, that your music efforts will be life-lasting. I can remember our music people from my own pre-school vacation bible school - what we sang, who told our stories, the verses we learned and (!) the lemonade and sugar cookies. Every day of my life, I am thankful for the lovely people who cared enough to share their talents and their faith with us. And for your friend, that's such alarming news. We will hold her, all who love her and all who help to cure her very close in our hearts and prayers. Polly
