OT - Update

Thank you for all your kind words and messages of support. We had the first ultrasound on Thursday, July 9th and everything was fine - baby super active, heartbeat, everything appeared normal. The baby was dated as 13 weeks, 2 days, so the revised due date is January 12, 2010.

I have found that now, at 14 weeks, I can eat food again. The nausea is lifting, and I'm not so exhausted anymore. I still haven't sewn anything, but maybe soon. Mark and I did a lot of tidying and spider purging yesterday, so everything looks a little brighter now.

Good news! I'm so very glad you are feeling better. Once you feel settled again, you'll probably want to try a little stitching. Congratulations again!

I missed the original announcement. Congratulations!

I had no trouble with morning sickness, but I did want to sleep 29 hours a day that frst 3 months! And I was trying to write essays about TS Elliot for my MA at the time!

Don't be proud, and don't think you are being silly: when you need help, ask for it! Housework, shopping, lifting stuff - the men are usually glad to help, though you may sometimes have fun with the rsults as they learn to use the washing machine...

Congratulations! I'm glad the nausea is lifting. It's been 40 years but I have never forgotten the nausea.
