Pacific Northwest Quilt Fest

It was in Seattle this weekend. What a fabulous show!

I promised pictures, planned to take my camera--forgot it. Tried to use my Blackberry--no memory left....

This show which has been almost totally "artsy" in the past now encompasses all sorts of quilting. Sharon Yenter loaned many old quilts from her collection--dating back to about 1810. They are fabulous! If you have a chance to see them, go for it.

I indulged myself totally with a sterling silver thimble. I've never had one so comfortable! Guess this means I have to get busy.

Bought one new pattern and two of those mesh back supports. Purr, purr......wonderful. One for home and one for work. Will definitely use one while driving long distances. Oh, and a two handles African basket. I have two gorgeous ones but needed one I could use to carry papers at work.

I walked my feet off but with a bit of rest am ready to tackle the "get ready for Monday" laundry.

Happy quilting,

Lenore
