Patterns?

I am looking for pieced or applique blocks of animals. I have searched until my eyes are blurry, but only found a scottie, butterfly, yada yada. Would love a chameleon, other breeds of dogs and cats, birds, that kind of thing. Anyone have any leads?

There's a site by FourTwinSisters that has heaps of patterns, largely appliqué. They even do requests. Try here:

Sharon Malec does some wonderful patterns. Also, Margaret Rolfe has books of pieced animals of loads of different kinds. I only have one book - The Quilter's Ark - but I'm pretty sure she has done more, by now! I think I did hear of at least one. As to appliqué, perhaps you could start with Google, Images, trace from one of the photos you will find and go from there? . In message , Boca Jan writes

...also answered privately. If I remember correctly (and it's been many years since I first signed up), they will send you an email with your password. If you haven't heard in a couple of days, go to the sight and send them a message asking for your password.

I went to the website - and down at the bottom, on the left, there's 3 choices: Contacting Us Our Mailbox Suggestions Subscribing to QOR

I checked the "Subscribing to QOR" one, and this is what I found: When you subscribe you will receive (via email) your password and information you need to download patterns and clipart from the site. We will also notify you (via email) when something new has been added.

Our patterns are all in Adobe Acrobat format to make downloading easy. Our clipart comes in both BMP and GIF format.

Have you tried kids coloring books? Many things in those are good for applique The Applique society has their quilt show in Tampa in May. If you could get to that you'd find lots. Gen
