Does anyone know if the jelly roll pens are waterproof and permament? I like them better that pigma ones, but won't use till I know. Thanks.

I use Sakura brand Gelly Roll pens for many of my quilt labels. I got the package out.... it says- ph neutral, water proof, fade resistant, chemical resistant, creamy smooth .3 mm fine line, won't bleed thru thin paper, consistent flow, dries quickly, archival, suitable for acid free environments, use for all expressive writing, drawing,or doodling projects, available in extra fine, fine and medium point size. Whew! There is also a website listed on the label

Mine are the fine point and write nicely on all the fabrics that I have tried it on. I print out the message on my computer printer using a pretty font, iron freezer paper to the back of the fabric for stability, and trace the letters using my light box. HTH
