Pfaff SM 7560 Questions

The only Pfaff-maniac I can remember just now is our Virginia Pat and she's out of commission for a little while. All I remember about the Pfaff is: it does wonderful perfect seaming, the feet are a bit silly to change and the foot-lifter thingie seems upside down and backwards. Maybe you'd better wait for Pat. Thanks Polly. I have an older Pfaff 1471 so I know about the strange foot thing and the foot lifter. I'm lucky that I have had 3 offers to help, PLUS the original owner is a friend in TX. (I'm in SC.) I've had a couple of responses from people who will have this SM or a similar one, in front of them and I thought they might could help me better. Thanks again, Barbara in SC

I think, I you already have a manual, there is probably not much I can help with, given that mine is a different model. However, I (and my Mum and my Aunt) are all very happy with out Pfaffs, so I'm sure you'll get on very well with yours too. One thing that I really like about mine (other than the built-in even feed foot on top) is that I think balancing stitches with the tension is so easy on different fabrics/threads, I hardly ever have to fiddle with it at all, and when I do, it works. Have fun with your new toy!
