Pincushions

Maybe that's what I got at the quilt shop! I paid $8 bucks for a small bag. Ground walnut shells. Huh. Who'd a thought it.

To all of you who responded to my question regarding pincushions, thank you so much! Some of you may know that I am disabled and have some very boring health problems. There are times I don't get on the computer for several days at a time. This was one of them. Then today when I checked in -- there were all these replies! WOW! If a person wants to know something, just ask here on RCTQ! :)

We also had to put our little Poodle-With-Attitude to sleep a few days ago. He was 14 years old and had a very interesting life. I'm write some stories about him. My daughter does all those great scrapbooking things and I thought it would be a great way for us to grieve. He was an amazing little guy.

I'm going to take a couple of days and go thru your replies. Thanks again!

So sorry to read about your little friend. I hope all the good memories of him bring you comfort.

M.Facklam For me the same can be said of my feline companions. They give me so much more than I give them.

One of my cat companions of many years is now fading fast. Enness is about 18yo and has also had an interesting life. Like most of my furries, she was a rescue cat. She is staying close by me lately as if she knows her remaining time is short. But she has had a long and happy time with me (over 15years) and although I will grieve to lose her I will not let her suffer if her quality of life deteriorates.
