DagGONE, Girl!! I love your blocks!! I especially love your Orange Peel ... that's one of my all-time favorite blocks!!

I have to ask ... what's this one called? Is it original? I'm not familiar with the Dear Jane book (yet - hopin' to get it for Christmas! - it's on my list!!)

Hope I'm not annoyin' you with all my questions!! :)

Hi Connie, you're not annoying at all, in fact you're very good for my ego... just hope I can get out the door.

The block you mentioned below is from the Dear Jane quilt by Brenda Manges Papadakis and is called 'Water Lily'. It is 4.5 finish. I'm afraid I've been dragging my heels a bit lately and have not been getting the block of the week completed (it's not compulsory but good to move the project along if I could manage that one block a week). Due to the house being upside down. Slowly getting put back together but meanwhile everything else is a bit on the back burner. I still have the bulk of my Christmas cards to write, my overseas ones have gone but I've a load for the UK yet to do. The rate I'm going it's going to be time for next Christmas. The Dear Jane project is a great one as is the virtual social side of it.

I have done a couple of designs blocks they are on my UK.blog.360.. link below. They are the poppy block and schizostylis that I did for the RCTQ BOM. I'm waiting for some creative juices to flow to do my December one. I have the idea but need to transfer it to paper then on to here.

Every time I hear the dirty word "Exercise", I wash my mouth out with chocolate.
