I am looking for settings for 4" signature squares, to go in a memory quilt. Any suggestions? I expect to have about 35-40 of these. Thanks, Nancy

have you tried doing a Google Images search using the key words signature quilt.... I just did -- and I got tons and tons of pics of various signature quilts -- clearly would get your creative juices flowing!

For this, I like simple. You want the signature squares to be the focus. I suggest, for each signature square, cut 2 4" scrap squares. Cut them on the diagonal, put them square in a square, and sew them all together.
I'd purposely shuffle the signature squares so there's no clear up or down to the quilt. To read them, you'd have to put your head in all directions. That way, the quilt can go on the bed in any way.

Might be something there to inspire you. You'll have to go to the block patterns, then alphabetical and on to 'S'. You might want to turn your sound off first; Marsha's music is a little too chipper for me early in the morning. Polly
Howdy!
