Yogi is hard at work doing a full inspection of the quilt. Another proud QOV that is definitely a treat for the eyes. Polly - you've done it again! jennellh

Anybody want to know how many wrong ways there are to assemble that block? Polly

Wow! That quilt just sparkles -- the blue adds just the right touch. And Yogi obviously approves; I'm so glad we got to see him signing off on quality control. ;)

Well, I lost Yogi. Didn't really 'lose' him, but asked DH if he'd seen Yogi. He wasn't in any of his usual napping spots or putting the Look on me for a treat. Silly me. I might have known the QOV couldn't be shipped without thorough inspection. Do you think I need to put a sticker on it that says 'Inspected by ...' ? Polly

Oh, please, please do, Polly. The soldier receiving it will just love to have a chuckle about the inspection officer. (Don't forget to say who Yogi is!).

It's a splendid quilt. Funny you should have said about the hazards of putting the blocks together! I was looking at it and thinking the very same thing before I read your post >g< Beautiful piece of work. . In message , Polly Esther writes

This brought tears to my eye...you are a generous person. and yes, you should put "inspected by: Yogi" on the label. Soldiers dont have much to chuckle about overseas, that would be a treat. and send along a picture of Yogi! Great job! amy in CNY

Absolutely gorgeous! And, no, I don't even want to think about how many ways that block could be put together wrong! Will QOV let you send a picture along with the quilt? What a great way to show "Inspected By"!

Only a sticker? We include our QI right on our labels.

I think the pic is a great idea. Whether or not it's allowed, since we embroider our labels, I'll talk to the construction mgr about adding our embroidered Fudgy head to our labels. I'm sure there are Yorkie patterns out there too if Polly were so inclined (and/or goofy as us... ;-) Where there's a will, there's a way.

WOW! The quilt is GREAT! And darling Yogi is as majestic (and cute) as ever as he inspects your latest. Thanks for sharing.

I'm glad to see that Yogi is giving it a thorough inspection. :-)

Howdy!

Perky, the quilt & the inspector. Way to go, Polly. I esp. like the scattering of blues & scrappy triangles that keep the eye moving, makes the quilt "wave". Perky, yeah.

Howdy!

sounds kinda' lumpy, could make for some interesting shipping packaging... and a challenge to fold...
