Pouting in Virginia

Today I am working on the Disaster Area formerly known as Pat's Quilting Studio. (Yes, that is Disaster Area with capitals because this is an OFFICIAL Disaster!!) Needless to say, my mind wanders and I find excuses to take breaks. Soooooo .....

It just occurred to me that because of traveling, then being off line, I MISSED Miss Polly's Annual Very Bad Christmas Joke!! This is NOT a good thing. I do hope that Miss Polly will email the joke ASAP. Thanks!

Now, back to your regularly scheduled mayhem.

Oh me, my goodness, mercy! Pat. It's much, much worse than you know. Not only did I present the Annual Very Bad Christmas Joke . . . but I was bested time and time again. To add insult to injury, my cable folks decided not to carry news groups any more and I had to change over to 'individual' so I don't have much in the way of Great Moments in rctq history. Maybe someone here can find them for you? (Of course I can email you my very own groaner but there were some truly Awful ones that you missed.) Polly

Do you think the AVBCJ and all its friends had anything to do with your cable provider's decision? So awful it fried their hardware maybe? (giggle) Roberta in D

Now, there's a picture. I can just see all the cable newsgroup guys throwing their hands in the air and saying "I just can't go through the AVBCJ one more time. I just can not." and they all walk out. Yes. The joke could have done it. Polly

I don't know about that ... I'm pretty sure that they would be similar in temperament to engineers ...

And AFAIK, engineers don't have a sense of humor that they are aware of. ;) (joking because hubby's an engineer and one-time quasi-IT guy - and his sense of humor is VERY dry!)

Just keep those FEMA critters out. They might try to steal your stash.

You can, however, send any stash to me for safe keeping.

To heck with the stash...I just want the chocolate she's been receiving from all the other RCTQers!
