I dare you to call your brother and tell him that the doctors want your Dad with someone there 24/7 and to arrive soon so he can take on his share. Sounds like he's in denial and assumes that this crisis will go away if he doesn't acknowledge that this is serious. Don't let him get away with it. (I have a brother too. We never got that opportunity with my dad. He and his second wife were killed in a head-on collision nearly 6 years ago.

I would have rather taken care of him. :o(
