Printed Treasures Photo Paper RINSE?

It says when you get done printing to RINSE these papers in cold water before quilting. Have any of you done that? I'm scared! I have printed my pictures in sepia.

I need some advice on if this is necessary.

I use the printer fabric by EQ, but I rinse mine and have had no problem at all doing that. If there's going to be any run off, you'd rather have it happen now than later, but mine usually leaves the water clear. (I print on an HP printer with just the regular, not the photo, ink.)

Thanks. Guess I had better go ahead and do it.
