Back on July 27th, I told Ruby this about a similar problem and we never heard from her again so maybe it's not so good advice. Turn your machine off. Unplug it. Unhook the power cord. Then put it all back. That is lazy computer tech speak for: Hang up and re-boot. For no reason - my 1230 acted like that but it had at least 100,000 miles on it so I gave to DDIL and bought the 440. Never, ever. Not once has it defied her. I think it's the moon. Might be just pure fear. I dunno. Polly
