Product endorsment NAYY

I just wanted to tell you all about a cleaning product that I purchased at a LQS recently. It's called Grandma's Secret Spot Remover. It's a tiny 2 ounce bottle that has so far saved 5 of my t-shirts and couple of my husband's. I bought it on a whim hoping that it would work on a grease spot I had on a favorite shirt and it did. Then I looked through my closet for a few more shirts that were in the 'just wear for gardening' pile. All of these shirts had old grease spots that had been put through the washer and dryer numerous times, but just a few rubbed in drops of this stuff and they're totally gone. I don't ususally post about stuff like this, but I really like it, and since I bought it in a quilt shop, I thought I'd pass the info along. It's supposed to also clean ink. blood, coffee. rust, tar, betadine, and, most importantly, fabric bleed. I haven't used it on these other things yet, but I'm sure I will eventually.

It's non-toxic, and biodegradable and has no chlorine.

Denise, we bought a bottle of it at Hancock's when we were in Orlando a couple of weeks ago. DH inspects aircraft and those things get nasty. He gets grease spots and jet fuel on his clothes all the time. We thought we would try it for that. He did try in on one of his favorite t-shirts that has cooking grease on it and it worked like a charm. Just haven't tried it on his work clothes yet. The lady who sold it to us swore by it though. At $4.99 a bottle I don't think she was singing it's praises just to make the sale either, especially when she could sing the praises of so many sewing utensils for a larger sale.
