Anyone know where to get a puffin fabric?



This needs to be fast. It's to make a quick lap quilt for Marion's brother, who is (rapidly) dying of cancer - he loved puffins as a kid. No time for elaborate piecing, and the result has to be robust and washable.

I'm so sorry you need to do this, but I found a website devoted entirely to puffins. Perhaps they could help you quickly find what you're looking for. In any event, perhaps Marion's brother would be able to enjoy looking at the page with all its puffin information and links.

They sell cotton inkjet sheets that will stand washing many times says it can be used for quilts. A pack of 5 A4 costs 7.99 They also do silk and voile plus linen.

I have printed one sheet in my printer came out good.

There must be plenty of puffin pictures around. Hope this helps Shirley

is Sealife at Just Quilts. Says its temp. out of stock, but they may have it back in. Its a Moda I thinkand Makower at http:/tinyurl.com/ (Fabric Paradise.com) I looked on Makower's site but it said 'new'and their seaside range of different. I have one little square (4") of the Makower I can send you so at least you would have a tiny bit of Puffins if you couldn't find it. However as your addy is 'bogus' I will need your real one. If I post it tomorrow you might even get it by Friday.
