QI Prayers again, please

Ok, here we go again. DeAnna apparently had a seizure this afternoon,much like the one she had earlier that was diagnosed with vestibulardisease. She was shaking, front legs would lock, she piddled on thefloor, head shaking, eyes bouncing from side to side - very scary tosay the least.So we called the vet and I called DH (who was on his way home) andtold him to meet us there. Saw the main doc this time, and he had herblood pressure taken, took a look at her eyes and ears, and listenedto all that had happened. From start to end, the episode was about 45minutes long. By the time we had gotten to the vet, things weresettling down a bit, though she was still a little shaky. Her eyesstopped being all wonky, and DS said that when he was sitting with herin the car (while I got DD into her shoes and out the door), her eyeswere going in different directions.Anyway, since it was about 3 months ago that the first happened, thedoc that we saw today thinks that the first might have actually been aseizure in conjunction with vestibular disease. He put her onphenabarbitol (sp?) to try and get the seizures under control. Hewill see her again in a month - I have to call tomorrow to set up anappointment because I didn't have my schedule with me.Anyway...the kids were pretty shaken up as well, but have calmed downnow that they know she is okay (for the time being).ThanksLarisa

Hugs to you and your whole family! Such a loss but a gift to have shared the time you had with her...

I'm so sorry Larisa. It always makes me cry when I read of the loss of a beloved pet. I know how it hurts. You have my sympathy.
