Quilting is a REAL MAN's job, women can't do it!!!

Knowing John, I'd expect the pick and shovel to have hand-turned wooden handles, made of environmentally friendly regrowth-forest wood and stained to match each recipient's home workshop, to be perfectly balanced, and to have blades that are polished and hand-sharpened. Oh, and to come with a handy wall rack that he just happened to whip up out of spare parts on the weekend.

You send me the tools first, and then we'll talk.

Louise, in Kingston Ontario.

REAL women gobble chocolate "RAW" and make quilts of dismembered trolls ;) I have finely honed skills with backhoes, front loaders and drag lines; piffle on the picks and shovels. This troll is now in the "PLONK" bin....BOOWHAAhahahahaha!

My ISP is fiddlin' with our news server so I'm posting thru Google today........whadda pain :(

John, you owe me a bit of your stash just for forgetting the SPEW warning! ;)

Do I sense a conspiracy?? Could dear John and Victor be in cahoots? Perhaps a mere ploy to relieve us of our "hard-earned" stashes?? :-)

I didn't see him as a troll! Yeesh. Am I that silly for not expectin' trolls in a quiltin' group??

Yikes ... not in Thoth, so it's harder to see the headers (am using Outlook - yuk). Will pay more attention next time ...

Don't s'pose you can tell us what abg.mampf is??? Google's not really givin' up any secrets. :-/

Just adding my 2 cents worth.... thanks guys for the laugh of the day! Methinks it would be fun to see how much Victor cooks, cleans house, & raises kids as those usually "should" be done before quilting

Right you are, I am forwarding some of the stash that others are sending me, in exchange for the picks and shovels. I hope that makes up for my grievous error.

I'm waitin' to see how well he gives *birth* to kids!! :-)

I've always thought that that should be a man's job, too.

Yeesh ... that's a lesson I didn't learn the *first* time!! ;-)

And what's worse??? I think A LOT about havin' another one!! Do you think that dear Victor will volunteer to have one for me?? ;-)

What do you think? Could we start a trend?? :-)

Men are actually involved, but only in a contributory way.
