Quilts, Secrets hidden in Fabric.

I was just scanning the tv guide on my tv and saw this program coming up at 5p Eastern Time on HGTV. I know it is not much notice for anyone interested, but thought I would post it as upcoming for anyone wanting to see this program. juliasb

Thanks Julie! I'm watching it! 15 minutes is better than none at all! It's interesting!

I tried to watch that, but was over-ruled by cries of "no, go back to SpongeBob!" I'm hoping it will be repeated. The show, not the tantrums. :-)

This is why I'm in heaven with my new TIVO -- DH can channel surf to his heart's content, and my show still gets "taped". He's even figured out how to program the thing, and he *never* figured out the VCR. ("What? You mean I have to have a tape in or your show doesn't get recorded? Why didn't you tell me???" Sheesh!)

Just five for me. I read the post an ran to the TV. I've got the schedule watch set up searching for "quilt" now. I'm not sure why I didn't before. :/

I should have known that you'd also have a TiVo! One unit wasn't enough, so we now have two units. We actually watch LESS TV now, as it's possible to be very selective and watch only what is really important and whenever we feel like it. I love the auto-record wish list feature, as I can request it find and record shows about quilts. I am enjoying season passes for SQ and Fons & Porter.

I spied it just in time to miss only the first minute. I wish HGTV "knew" us well enough to send a notice. Or Alex--she must have known.

Which Fons & Porter? I'm watching what must be series 3 on Nebraska ETV, but the F&P web site has nothing, denies there is a series 3, and seems mystified by my inquiry. (They swear there is no such episode as the one I described.)

The program was so interesting. Some of it was so sentimental that I almost had tears. Imagine making dresses for "rich ladies" for 25 cents? Or slaving away in the Mills 16 hours a day 6 days a week? We truly are so lucky! Linda

This was shown on HGTV last Saturday. I do hope they repeat it soon.
